Ed spent fifteen years at Cree/Wolfspeed, working across both engineering and IT while the company grew explosively. That vantage point - writing code from the lab and the manufacturing floor - taught him which technologies and techniques actually achieve rapid results, and which just generate meetings.

GSDware has been his vehicle for putting that to work since 2013: Custom software and engineering services for engineering and manufacturing teams, and anyone else who needs to get stuff done.

Today the operation is deliberately small and heavily leveraged. AI-assisted development means one experienced engineer ships what a team used to, with fewer handoffs and no lost context. You talk directly to the person building your software.
